The
Drywall Project Coordinator
will play a vital role in supporting project management and will work closely with all members of the Team to ensure project administration is effectively maintained and communicated.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and distribute project start up documentation, files, and forms.
Maintain detailed project logs, binders, drawings, and any other project related administration to support the team.
Attend meetings, take, and distribute meeting minutes.
Assist with budgets, pricing, and process changes.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of scheduled reports.
Maintain project drawings.
Assist in contract revisions.
Issue and follow up with RFI's.
Track and distribute change orders.
Maintain risk registers.
Prepare project reports and communications.
Collect, compile, and distribute close-out documentation.
Other duties as required.
Required Competencies and Attributes:
A minimum of two (2) years as a Drywall and/or Construction Project Coordinator.
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
Ability to pass security screening/background checks per client requirements with various authorities.
Exceptional written and oral communication, in English.
Strong understanding of CCDC contracts and documents.
Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project.
Procore and Bluebeam proficient.
Must be able to read, interpret, and navigate through construction blueprints and drawings.
Ability to read and interpret client specifications and change orders.
Able to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Strong organizational skills.
Strong negotiating skills.
Able to work under tight deadlines.
Work Location:
This is an in-office position working from the Head Office in Burlington, Ontario.
There may be occasional site visits, therefore the candidate must a G drivers license, with access to a reliable vehicle.
