Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher and interior renovator to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing interior walls and ceilings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. This role also requires framing, installing exterior and interior doors, tiling, flooring install, trim work.

Duties:

- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to blueprints and specifications

- Apply tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth surface

- Repair damaged drywall by patching or replacing sections

- Apply texture or decorative finishes to walls and ceilings

- Caulk gaps and seams for a seamless appearance

- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed in a timely manner

-Ability to tile, hang doors, install flooring and trim

-Valid G Driver's Licence is a must

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role

- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction painting

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Skills:

- Proficient in drywall installation, taping, mudding, and sanding techniques

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to drywall finishing

- Familiarity with different types of drywall materials and their applications

- Strong understanding of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and seams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
