Chareport Inc., a new dry cleaning and laundry startup in Mississauga, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Dry Cleaning & Laundry Worker

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling garments with care, operating laundry and dry cleaning equipment, and ensuring high-quality service for our customers. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to learn and grow in the garment care industry.

Duties

Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements Ensure all laundry is cleaned to hotel standards and ready for guest use in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and surrounding spaces Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure linens are delivered promptly and accurately Perform routine inspections to identify any damaged or stained items requiring special attention

Requirements

Prior experience in hotel laundry or related cleaning roles is preferred Knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation is advantageous Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required Basic understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.75-$23.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
