We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Drop-In Personal Support Worker (PSW) Temp to provide essential care and assistance in a supportive living environment. This role involves working closely with seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while gaining valuable experience in caregiving and home care services.

Duties

Vehicle is an asset , not mandatory , 2 hours for 12 days consecutively . Check in with client.

Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their personal care routines Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic living space Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through specialized approaches Help with activities of daily living to promote independence and quality of life Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings preferred Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and medication administration highly desirable Prior experience working with people with disabilities is an asset Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and attentive to residents' needs Certification or training in caregiving or home health aide is advantageous but not required

Pay: $17.20-$46.44 per hour
