Job Description


About the Role

The Driver / Stores Assistant provides a variety of inventory services, including issuing supplies and equipment from stock, handling and managing inventory of stock materials, and placing orders; receiving mail and incoming shipments; and snow removal.

Qualifications

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC driver\'s license (Class 5) and permitted to operate vehicles with air brakes and basic computer skills required.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Ability to be bonded.
  • Knowledge of basic security/safety protocols.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to drag and push heavy boxes/bags/etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
