Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, MOTIVATED, dependable, honest, and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries ,pay attention to details, strong Customer Service skills/happy to serve attitude, maintain accurate records and maintain the vehicle in excellent condition. This role requires strong communication skills, must be fluent in English (writing and speaking/comprehension), and the ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts. The candidate must be a team player player as well as highly efficient unsupervised. The Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist with moving freight within warehouses or distribution centers as needed. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities. Perform basic mechanical checks and report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record( 3years). Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Experience with moving freight, forklift operation, or related logistics tasks is preferred. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. To obtain Hazardous Goods Training. Physical ability to load, unload, and move freight efficiently. (50 pounds) Prior experience freight transportation is desirable. Knowledge of the city and surrounding area. Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled deliveries.
