DRIVER TOUR GUIDE THE FINER DETAILS Start Date: March \xe2\x80\x93 June 2023 Work Hours: Seasonal, Full-time + Part-time roles available Location: 2350 Beta Ave, Burnaby, BC Wage: $21-22/hr with Class 2 with Air Brakes + Extended Health benefits (Company pays \xc2\xbd while working full time if you opt in) Training Wage: $19/hr with Class 5 and GLWCS pays for Class 2 training ($2/hr less while in training course) Driver Gratuities average $7-10/hr ($40-300/day)

Our Driver Tour Guides conduct daily sightseeing tours while driving 20-30 passenger mini coaches, while providing entertaining and informative commentary to our guests. NOTE: you must possess a valid BC Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Licence, a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract, and 3 years of driving experience in BC to obtain your commercial driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Being responsible for conducting safe, orderly, and fun sightseeing tours, driving 20 + guests on tours to Vancouver, North Shore, Victoria, Squamish & Whistler

• Providing clear live tour narration in English while driving

• Efficiently keeping the tour on-time and schedule, while providing a five-star guest experience

• Performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring bus cleanliness

• Being warm, friendly, and welcoming to all guests and team members

• Promoting partner attractions and online reviews

• Professionally handle guest queries and concerns

• Complete all passenger paperwork for entry into ferries and into attractions

• Effective and professional communication over radio/phone

• Available to work a full or part time schedule over the summer touring months

WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU:

• You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus

• You possess a valid BC Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with a minimum 3 years driving experience, and a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract

• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 10-11 hours per day

• You have previous experience working in a customer service or hospitality role

• You have the ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team

• You possess a professional attitude and appearance

• You have excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills

• You possess problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills

• In-depth Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria knowledge is an asset

• You have the ability to lift luggage up to 50lbs

• You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is an asset

• You are legally entitled to work in Canada

SHUTTLE DRIVER THE FINER DETAILS Start Date: April \xe2\x80\x93 June 2023 Work Hours: Seasonal, Full-time or Part-time roles available Location: 2350 Beta Ave, Burnaby, BC Wage: $21-22/hr + Extended Health Benefits (Company pays \xc2\xbd while working full time if you opt in) Training Wage: $19/hr with Class 5 and GLWCS pays for Class 4 training ($2/hr less while in training course) Approx. shift times: AM Shuttle: 0645 \xe2\x80\x93 1245 & PM Shuttle: 1545 \xe2\x80\x93 2230
WE PAY FOR THE COST AND TRAINING TO OBTAIN YOUR CLASS 4 LICENCE! An integral part of our guest service and tour logistics is our Shuttle Driver role. You will drive a minibus, working closely with our Driver Guides, assisting with picking up or dropping off guests at their hotel for our various tours, along with other odd jobs to support the operations. A Shuttle shift usually starts early in the morning. It begins by pre-tripping your vehicle for the day, then determining your hotel pick up route working closely with our Operations team. Arriving at each hotel, guests will be met with your friendly greeting and warm manner. After gathering guests from various hotels, you will meet up with the Driver Guide to transfer guests to their coach before beginning pickups for our next tour departure. An evening shuttle shift works much the same, except you drop guests off back at their hotel after their wonderful day on tour! As a Shuttle Driver, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be prepared for the little surprises that will pop up on a daily basis. Missing guests! Perhaps a vehicle rescue! Last-minute drives to Whistler! You are our eyes and ears out on the road and must be flexible for last-minute changes and requests. For the right candidate with a Class 5 Licence, we will pay for the cost of training for you to obtain your Class 4 licence!
WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU:

• You possess a Valid BC Class 2 or 4 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License* with a clean driving abstract

• You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 5-7 hours per day

• You have a good knowledge of Vancouver\xe2\x80\x99s downtown core

• You possess a personable guest first attitude

• You have the ability to lift luggage up to 50lbs

• You work well under pressure

• You are organized and extremely detail-oriented

• You have a professional attitude and appearance

• You are a quick learner and hard worker who can meet deadlines

• You have the ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team

• If you have previous tourism/hospitality experience, it\xe2\x80\x99s an asset

• You are fluent in English, both written and oral
