About Staffing works with a number of companies across Calgary that require temporary, casual, part-time, and permanent workers. We are currently hiring experienced 5-ton drivers to support our non-profit client.
Drivers will be operating 5-ton trucks, transporting materials and completing deliveries, and assisting with on-site duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:

• Operating 5-ton trucks safely and efficiently
• Transporting materials and packages to and from the warehouse
• Completing local deliveries and pickups
• Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking/Packing - putting together orders, palletizing, boxing, etc.

Education:

• High School or Equivalent (asset)

Qualifications:

• Driver's license and clean drivers abstract
• Hard working
• Reliable
• Committed
• Team player
• Strong communication skills

Experience:

• Previous experience driving a 5-ton truck
• Warehouse experience preferred (asset)

Skills:

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Manages time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
• Pays close attention to detail when handling deliveries, paperwork, and inventory.

Base Salary $18.00 - $20.00/hr
Work Hours:

• Part-Time: 4-6hrs per day (Monday-Thursday)

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
