Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring materials and storage are organized, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time to minimize site delays and support job efficiency. The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and delivering materials and equipment to support daily construction operations. Duties
Load, unload, and transport construction materials, waste, tools, and equipment.
Perform and document daily pre-trip inspections for vehicles and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of materials received and dispatched.
Organize and store materials at warehouse and job sites.
Deliver materials to job sites per schedule.
Dump construction waste at landfill and/or transfer stations.
Assist with managing tools and equipment inventory.
Support construction sites with labour duties during demolition and/or clean up.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
Communicate effectively with field and warehouse teams.
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Assist in creation and update process maps, procedures, checklists, and other operational documentation.
Complete personal timesheet entries
Skills
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs frequently and perform physical labor.
Strong organizational skills and time management.
Familiarity with construction materials and tools.
Basic computer skills, and ability to learn new softwares
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
2+ Years Carpentry Experience
Valid Drivers License
