The Driver is also responsible for supporting maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles, wash bay area and yard, maintaining the professional image of CVS and safe work environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Deliveries

Loads, unloads and delivers raw and finished products between vendors and CVS Organizes shipments with venders and ensures proper packing slips are attached and tracked

Vehicle Operation

Operates company vehicles according to company procedure, traffic laws and regulatory
requirements

Properly secures loads as required to ensure safe and damage-free movement of materials

Vehicle Inspections / Preventative Maintenance:

Performs required inspections on vehicles, noting repairs or maintenance required Cleans and provides basic maintenance of vehicles Works with service to ensure performance of maintenance and required annual inspections

General Labour

Washing trucks and maintaining a clean and orderly wash bay area Maintain cleanliness and order of truck yard Other labour duties may be assigned as required

Administrative Reporting

Performs and records truck inspections and maintains regulatory documentation including the Driver's
logbook

Maintain other records as required

Other Assignments/Projects

Works on related projects or initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

Education

Minimum high-school diploma

Experience

2-3 Years' experience in a similar driving role 1-2 Years' experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment

Certification:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License A clean driver's abstract will be required upon offer

Working Conditions:

Minimum of 40 hours per week with additional hours scheduled to meet production needs Some heavy lifting required, must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. Working and driving in all weather conditions. Worker must dress appropriately Correct and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment is a requirement of this position. Worker will provide CSA-approved safety footwear; all other PPE is provided
