Source Office Furniture is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of

Driver / Installer

at our

Kelowna, BC

location. This is a full-time position.

The Driver / Installer is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is provided as orders are promptly and safely delivered to various locations throughout a designated area. The Driver / Installer also assembles and installs product at the customer site by safely using hand tools and equipment and following instructional manuals. You are expected to work in the warehouse once the deliveries have been completed.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver a variety of assembled and non-assembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area accompanied by a driver assistant. Follow routes and a time schedule while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a 3 or a 5-ton truck. Complete daily inspection logs, reports, and paperwork. Assemble and install product in customer sites. Respond to service calls as assigned.

Qualifications:

2-3 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5-ton) in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions. Possess a clean, professional appearance, effective communication skills, and a customer service orientation. Experience in the use of hand and power tools; assembly skills is required. Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries. Valid Driver's License and Clean Driver's Abstract. Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
