Your role:

Deliver to customers who are in the same neighborhood as the store Help pick orders, assist customers and maintain a clean yard. Track shipments until they reach their destination, while respecting delivery deadlines Work in accordance with store health and safety and loss prevention policies and procedures Know and apply road safety rules Complete all required documentation Provide quality customer service Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
What we're looking for:

As a Driver

A valid class 3 driver's license and an excellent driving record Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight between locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic regulations while driving. Assist in basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts and or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. A focus on health and safety in the workplace
As a Yard Attendant

Organize and stack lumber and building materials according to size, type, and grade. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, sweeping, and organizing the yard. Load and unload trucks with lumber and other materials. Inspect and maintain yard equipment and tools. Assist customers with locating and selecting products. Load customer purchases into vehicles safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials around the yard. Report damaged or missing inventory to management.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
