Primary Responsibilities

The Driver Trainer is responsible for training/teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. The role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.


This position includes the following duties:

Completion of Driver's Assessments Instruction of Voyago Division Training as required License Upgrading (B Class) Outside instructional training programs All other duties as outlined by Transit Supervisor

Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

B/ F License held for a minimum of 3 years Posses clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening Excellent proven customer service expereince In-depth knowledge of Durham and surrounding areas Good organization and communication skills Availability to work flexible hours An understanding of vehicle for hire industry Knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straints Possess a clean driver abstract Preferred previous instructional / teaching experience Preferred previous Driver's Assessment expereince Preferred instructional expereince in B, D, E, F license Instructional of Voyago divisional training as required License upgrade training (B, E, and F)
