North Corridor Co-operative is hiring a Driver at our Home Centre office in Thorhild, Alberta. Who we are: Co-op does business differently.   • Delivery of materials throughout the North Corridor trading area
  • Ensure timely drop-off of product
  • Complete reports and logbook updates for documentation and follow-up
  • Oversee secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Maintain an organized work environment and delivery service for multiple commodities
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and detail
  • Report regularly to Logistics Coordinator on operations, activities and areas of concern
  • Attend relevant training and courses to increase knowledge on related areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform product delivery verification at each customer location and maintain relevant invoices and other documentation
  • Live and promote the Co-op brand and values at all times
  • Adhere to North Corridor policies and procedures
  • Complete other reasonable duties outside of job description as requested

  • Valid Class 3 drivers license
  • Travel is required throughout the North Corridor Co-op trading area on a regular basis
  • Knowledge of lumber and/or agro products is an asset
  • Clear pre-employment alcohol and substance test
  • Physically able to repeatedly lift, stack pull and carry items up to 80lbs
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others to build an effective and co-operative team environment
  • Ability to self-motivate and set priorities
