Job Description
Must have at least 3 years experience driving a 16ft cube van. Driving experience must be listed in the resume to be considered.
Priority will be given to those that apply in person at 21404 100 Ave.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Sun, Rain, Snow, we still operate.
Drivers are to pick up bags of containers at various homes/businesses throughout Edmonton and surrounding area using our skip the depot app and cube van.
This is a very physical job. This position requires lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift, sitting while driving, loading and unloading the truck. Lots of walking, bending, twisting.
The position is a full time position. We operate 7 days a week. Typical hours are 830am-5pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday or Sunday. When not driving, bottle sorting can be done at the depot for more hours.
Qualifications
• Experience in driving box trucks- min 3 years
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
• Familiarity with Edmonton and surrounding areas
• Knowledge of mechanical operations and equipment
• Previous experience in load and unload procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
