The Donnelly team is looking for a Parts Driver!


The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering automotive parts and accessories to our customers and service technicians in a timely and professional manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. This position pays $19 - $20/hour.

Job Duties:

Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers, service technicians, and other dealerships. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts orders, adhering to scheduled delivery times. Load and unload parts from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Verify delivery invoices with customers and obtain necessary signatures. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with the parts department and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in safe and proper working condition. Assist in the parts department with stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory when not making deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and dealership driving policies to ensure the safety of passengers, the vehicle, and the parts being transported. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delivery issues to the Parts Manager promptly. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Parts Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in a delivery driver role, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to handle and lift automotive parts and supplies.
