The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of food products, materials, and other items as required by the company. The role demands professionalism, attention to hygiene, and a commitment to operational efficiency, ensuring all deliveries and pickups are completed in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport food products, raw materials, and other supplies as per dispatch or operations schedule.
Load and unload items with care, ensuring no spillage or damage occurs.
Verify delivery quantities against order sheets and obtain required acknowledgments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of temperature-sensitive items.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or route delays immediately to the supervisor.
Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery logs.
Assist with other operational or kitchen duties when required.
Uphold company image and act courteously with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
Skills & Requirements
Valid G-Class driver's licence (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or restaurant operations preferred.
Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic ability to maintain records and follow schedules.
