M-F (8 hours) between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. May include varying shift lengths up to 12 hours, may include evenings and weekends depending on the client's need

About the Role:
As a Mobile Occupational Health Technician, you'll be the frontline hero in delivering our suite of occupational health testing services on company work sites and in facility. From proudly administering audiometric screening, to conducting respirator monitoring services, and various other occupational testing services you'll be the heart of keeping our clients' workforce in tip-top shape!
As a Mobile Occupational Health Technician, you will: Operate and assist in cleaning & maintaining a series of commercial vehicles
Operate and assist in maintaining various occupational testing equipment
Be expected to comply with federal and jurisdictional motor carrier compliance requirements, including pre- & post-trip inspections, daily driver logs, etc.
Organize and prepare required equipment and supplies to complete scheduled occupational testing services
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Be expected to complete pre-access site requirements, as required, which may include drug & alcohol testing
Ability to wear a half or full-face respirator that can properly seal to bare skin, when required
Travel to client's work sites to administer various occupational testing services, which may involve overnight trips
Greet clients as they arrive for their occupational testing appointment providing an exceptional first impression and customer service
Complete the client intake process which includes verifying client identity, creating client files, and completing the necessary paperwork as required
Administer a variety of occupational health services including hearing tests, pulmonary function tests, vision screens, hearing protection, and respirator fit tests all while ensuring high-quality results are achieved
Collect breath, urine, oral fluid, and hair specimens following standard chain of custody protocols and point-of-care testing is upheld
Supervise Critical Strength & Mobility assessments ensuring proper lifting techniques are demonstrated and client heart rates and oxygen levels are within safe ranges
Effectively resolve client conflicts with a calm and professional demeanor
Adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive client information such as personal details and test results
Support a variety of administrative functions including inventory counts, record management, client support and other tasks as required
What you'll bring:
A High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence & personal vehicle insurance, a clean driver's abstract are required
Experience driving commercial fleet vehicles is considered an asset
Standard First Aid and CPR-C/AED or equivalent are considered an asset
Experience working in a customer service role or in a clinical setting is viewed as an asset
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are considered an asset
Fluency with general computer functions is regarded as an asset
University graduation in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Certification in Personal Fitness Training or equivalent is considered an asset.
