Duties
Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
Navigate route driving with precision, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups, addressing questions or concerns courteously.
Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Follow safety protocols diligently during all aspects of loading, unloading, driving, and warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Experience with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving inventory safely.
Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; a driver's license is preferred.
Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
