Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized

Driver Lead

to oversee and support our nighttime transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English and French), possess excellent communication skills, and ensure smooth coordination between GTA Management, drivers, and the plant team. This role is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring timely trailer movements between Longueuil and Granby.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact between

GTA Management

and

drivers

during the shift. Communicate any updates, issues, or schedule changes promptly and clearly. Conduct regular check-ins with drivers to monitor progress and resolve operational challenges. At

midnight

, check in with the

Plant

to confirm trailer needs or adjustments. Ensure all routes between

Longueuil and Granby

are executed safely and efficiently. Maintain detailed shift reports and communicate any incidents or delays. Promote a culture of safety, responsibility, and teamwork among all drivers.

Qualifications:

Bilingual

- fluent in

English and French

(required). Strong communication and leadership skills. Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch coordination preferred. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work overnight shifts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
