Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated driver helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, driving, furniture assembly, and warehouse operations, along with strong communication skills to ensure a smooth moving process for our clients.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport items to various locations. Assist in loading and unloading items from trucks, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of items, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during the moving process.

Requirements

Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory. Valid class 5 driver's license with 3 years of experience. Ability to lift heavy items consistently throughout the day. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
