Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Delivery Person will also assist in warehouse operations as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries. Assist in warehouse tasks, including inventory management and organization of products. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others during the process. Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports for tracking purposes. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not required. Class 5 Drivers License with minimum 5 years driving experience. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Experience operating forklifts is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday is necessary. A background in customer service will enhance your ability to meet client needs effectively.
