Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and trustworthy Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work with clients with mobility limitations and seniors. This position requires in-town driving in Dauphin. Also, out of town medical transportation with-in the province. Driver will play a key role in maintaining our operational standards and delivering excellent service to our clients.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to appointments, shopping and recreational events Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload clients, and clients with wheelchairs and securely strap them in. Provide a friendly door-to door service assisting clients and carrying groceries Maintain accurate records of drop off and pick up times. Be able to push moderate weight and able to bend down. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatcher, clients, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise.

Requirements

Valid class 5 driver's license is required. criminal record check child and abuse checks drivers abstract the ability to multitask and stay organized be able to drive out of town in a variety of weather conditions, and use google maps or gps, and use smart phones Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
