This position supports the facility by ensuring pick-ups, movements and deliveries are completed in a timely manner primarily with Southwestern Ontario according to the necessities of the company to secure logistics operation. This role is also responsible for delivering incoming goods in a timely and efficient manner operating a Forklift. While in the facility you may also be responsible for picking items from racking to support the internal production team as well as to support shipping of customer orders or receiving of goods. Occasional building maintenance may also be required. Hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30 pm however you must be willing to start earlier to accommodate delivery and pickups. Work hours may increase or decrease, from time to time, in accordance with the Collective Agreement or as agreed between the parties in writing.

Responsibilities



Ability to drive truck and perform local pickups and deliveries as required

Willingness to travel in and out of the GTA regularly as well as locally

Assist with movement of motorhomes around our lot and offsite

Lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 lbs.

Verify that product is loaded correctly by comparing the load to the order by checking quantities and SKU numbers

Unload product from trailers as they come in and place product in appropriate area of the warehouse

Ensure that product is stored with correct stacking heights

Keep general areas tidy and aisle ways clean and free from cardboard, strapping materials, and product

Flexibility to adjust to changing tasks and priorities based on business needs

Work may be repetitive and requires working with a sense of urgency.

The position also includes managing fuel cans, refueling vehicles and assisting with other duties as needed to ensure efficient operations.

Education- Experience- Skills



Secondary School Graduate or equivalent

Lift Truck License

Valid Class D and G Driver's license with clean Driver's abstract

Computer literate

One (1) or more years' experience working in a warehouse operating a forklift

Transportation of Dangerous goods an asset

Clear understanding of CVOR laws and rules

Understanding of Vehicle safety and maintenance

Ability to lift, carry, push and pull product weighing up to 50 lbs.

Solid verbal and written English communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure while keeping safety a priority at all times

Strong attention to detail, work ethic and positive team player

Experience in shipping/receiving & order picking is considered an asset

Proactive and well-organized person

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment

Understand rules and laws while driving.
