Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery. Out of town work, with accommodations provided

Responsibilities

Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including freight documentation and delivery logs. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the dump truck as needed. This work is out of town. Accommodations are provided

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (Class 1) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety standards. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
