We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the overall safety and efficiency of our transportation operations. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and equipment to various locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or forklifts when required for loading or unloading freight. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if necessary to ensure vehicle functionality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during routes.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields. Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on the role. Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is advantageous. Ability to operate vehicles safely over long distances and in various weather conditions.
