Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of the parts and job components to distribute on the job site. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

Deliver finished products to designated locations within the GTA. Securely load the delivery truck (16 foot box truck) prior to leaving the warehouse. Transport materials to and from the finishing shop. Disassembly and re-assembly of cabinets as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and delivery times. Assist with receiving and organizing materials in the warehouse. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Move finished products within the warehouse - away from the production benches and into staging area. General cleaning and organization within the warehouse.

Requirements

Valid G driver's license (CDL) is required and recent drivers abstract. Previous experience driving a 16 foot box truck. Good understanding of the GTA and surrounding areas. Experience in the millwork industry and understanding of drawings is an asset. Must be able to lift 100 lbs. Strong ability to work well in a team environment as the position is required to work with our shop foreman, cabinet makers and on site installation teams. Excellent communication skills as you will be required to relay important information from the job site to the office.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
