The Opportunity
We are looking for a dependable
Driver Associate
to join the Nutrition Pantry Program team. The Driver Associate is responsible for safe and timely delivery of food products to schools, as well as assisting with warehouse operations and providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate vans and straight-trucks (G-class rated) for scheduled school deliveries.
Load and unload food products and equipment with care and according to food safety standards.
Follow assigned routes and schedules; communicate any delays to the Lead Driver or management.
Verify deliveries against manifests and instructions from the logistics team.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness; complete and record pre-shift inspections.
Assist with picking, packing, and staging deliveries, especially during high-volume periods.
Update delivery logs and confirm receipt with school staff or volunteers.
Work collaboratively with other drivers and warehouse staff.
Follow all health and safety policies and protocols.
Education, Skills and Requirements
Valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
Commercial driving or delivery experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 22 kg/49 lbs repeatedly.
Strong time management and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices is an asset.

Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Reference Check and provide a clean driver's abstract.
