Overview

Our team is looking to add a driver and labourer for junk removal work in the Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, Brantford, and Guelph area. Must have G or G2 license. Tasks include driving to and from job sites in our company dump truck, packing, sorting, loading furniture, garbage, and other unwanted items into a dump truck, interacting with customers, and working cooperatively with our team. Additionally we have occasional demolition work. We are committed to providing a safe work environment on all jobs. Working hours are flexible, from part time to full time Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

Preparing, sorting, and loading items into our dump truck.

Unloading items for donation and assisting truck driver with unloading at waste management locations.

Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Follow instructions from supervisor to complete work effectively.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Collaborate with team members.

Personable, friendly communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

Previous work experience in construction, junk removal, moving, or other labor intensive industries is preferred but not required.

Ability to lift heavy items (40lbs - 80lbs) and perform physical tasks for an extended period.

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Flexible working schedule during shift days.

Valid drivers license with access to a vehicle preferred but not required (we are able to pick up employees before shifts)

Punctual and reliable worker.
