Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and effective communication skills.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, which may involve heavy lifting and moving of materials. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including operating forklifts for loading/unloading tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Familiarity with operating forklifts is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of instructions and feedback.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
