We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles for the transportation of freight and goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred. Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
