Duties:



Perform daily reporting, including but not limited to HSE, productivity parameters, cost, and regulatory compliance. Ensure accurate tracking of project costs and well information in Petrosight. Record all required drilling data into Petrosight before 06:00 am. Upload reports, logs, tallies, and job reports from the vendor into One Drive. Ensure Tour Sheets are filled out completely and accurately. Reviewing and approving contractor field tickets. Perform contractor inspections and/or audits to ensure compliance to COSL HSE Requirements for Contractors Maintain open and clear communication with managers, engineers, superintendents, field superintendents, cross shifts, and support staff as required. Collaborate with and support other stakeholders as required (i.e., Completions, Operations, and Maintenance). Ensure conformance to established onboarding processes. Issue and/or receive safe work permits, manage TOAs, maintain COSL site sign-in sheets and on-site head counts. Directly supervising, witnessing, and/or verifying critical tasks as per the supervisor's Critical Task List. Participate and/or lead hazard identification and control. Lead safety meetings, review and sign subcontractor JSA/FLHA's and ensure all attendees have signed the JSA/FLHA. Participating in contractor safety meetings as required. Perform, supervise, provide guidance, and/or direct contractors regarding a variety of work outlined in the Drilling Program. Personally conduct job observations and reviews of critical tasks with crews using procedure manuals, participate in and encourage Hazard IDs and ensure meaningful FLRAs are recorded. Enforce and comply with the Operator's Drug and Alcohol Policy. Ensure all hazards are communicated to contractors on site. Manage and distribute site EAP. Ensure all equipment and processes are compliant with Directive 36. Ensure well control and blowout prevention measures meet regulations and operators' requirements. Monitor work to ensure all the Operator's and regulatory requirements are met. Monitor PPE use; hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots (with anti-slip), gloves, flame-resistant coveralls, and dust masks. Ensure all necessary atmospheric testing is conducted and that individuals conducting the tests are competent. Assume a lead role in the identification, communication, and execution of imminent danger situations. Support and participate in hazard identification, near misses, and job observation programs. Conduct formal documented rig inspections (including DROPS) on all equipment under your supervision. Monitor hazardous substance use, transportation, storage, and disposal. Identify and make recommendations to identify scope creep in advance (deviation from the sequence that may impact the cost estimate) and communicate with direct reports in a timely fashion. include:
- Alterations or substitutions of equipment without endorsement from the COSL Engineering/Operations group.

- Allowing or encouraging work outside the scope of an approved program or approval of the COSL Engineering/Operations group.

- Operating any contractor equipment or use of hand tools onsite.

Qualifications:



Experience in SAGD or Thermal Drilling operations is required; additional experience in HPHT is preferred High degree of initiative and independent judgment Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines Good computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, drilling data information systems Ability to work well and communicate effectively within a multi-functional, integrated team Strong oral and written communication skills; Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and team-focused skills; Ability to deliver desired results safely, on time, and on budget, while maintaining or enhancing relationships; Working from the field is required.
