, you'll support the Driller on geotechnical and environmental investigations. This is a hands-on, outdoor role with lots of travel, early mornings, and physical work in all weather. We'll train the right person who brings hustle, safety focus, and a great attitude.
What You'll Do
Set up and break down drill sites; load/unload tooling, augers, rods, core boxes, and supplies.
Handle spoils, cuttings, and sample management (labelling, logging assistance, chain of custody).
Mix/batch grout and drilling fluids; backfill/abandon holes to spec.
Spot vehicles, rig mats, and assist with rig moves (track or truck mounted).
Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas; perform daily housekeeping.
Complete basic paperwork: timesheets, vehicle/rig inspections, pickup manifests.
Support environmental tasks: monitoring well installation, development, decon, and waste handling.
Drive support trucks/trailers to and from sites (if licensed and competent).
Follow all procedures, PPE requirements, and direction from the Driller/Site Supervisor.

Lift 50-75 lb repeatedly; bend, carry, and work on your feet 8-12 hrs/day in all weather.
