Job Description
Marathon Underground Constructors Corporation is currently seeking an experienced large diameter driller
Responsibilities and Duties
Operation of drilling equipment, Liebherr, Soilmec or similar
Read and interpret project plans, diagrams and Locates
Work under customers standards related to drilling; adhering to site specific rules and regulations
Record daily drilling logs, maintain accurate daily journals
Performs all other duties as required by supervisor/manager
Experience and requirements:
Minimum 1-year experience
Substantial experience in operation of heavy machinery and construction
Valid drivers License and clean abstract
Ability to read plans and locates is a must.
Job Environment:
Our sites are located outside and operate year-round, must be able to work in varied outdoor weather conditions including extreme temperatures.
Must be in good physical condition (Heavy Lifting required 50+ lbs)
Must be able to work safely, both independently and also as part of a team
Must adhere to all company specific policies and regulations
Adheres to Health & Safety requirement, including Book 7 standards for traffic conditions
This position may require travel within Canada
Our head office is in Acheson Alberta and not currently accessible via public transportation, as such reliable personal transportation is required for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.94-$47.43 per hour
