What We're Looking For

Willingness to work outdoors year-round across Saskatchewan. Mechanically inclined and able to lift heavy loads. A good driving record and valid Canadian driver's license (Class 1 or G-Endorsement are assets). Willingness to travel frequently for out-of-town projects.

Training & Certifications (Assets)

Having any of the following certifications is an asset:
SCOT (including WHMIS 2015), Standard First Aid/CPR, LSE, Global Ground Disturbance I & II, H2S Alive, Hearing Protection, Respiratory Protection, General Mine Safety Awareness, G-Endorsement, or Class 1 License.

Experience in any of the following industries will also be considered an asset:

Drilling, hydraulics, electrical, highway or civil construction, building construction, mining, military, or farming.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a

safe work environment

, upholding SoilRocks' "Safety First"culture. Professionally represent SoilRocks when interacting with clients and site teams. Identify and mitigate on-site hazards before starting work. Operate geotechnical and environmental drill rigs safely and efficiently. Supervise and support the drilling helper, vehicle, and tools. Ensure proper maintenance of rig, vehicles, and equipment. Perform field investigations as directed by project engineers or geologists. Keep drill sites organized, clean, and well-maintained. Communicate daily with your supervisor and team.

Requirements for New Drillers

Passion for safety, teamwork, and customer service. Legal eligibility to work in Canada. Minimum

18 years of age

. Valid Canadian driver's license with a clean record (Driver's Abstract required annually). Physically fit and able to safely handle drill augers and tools (approx. 50-60 lbs). Willing to travel regularly outside Regina, SK. Strong work ethic and commitment to reliability. Willingness to undergo

substance screening

and

physical fitness testing

before employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$45.00 per hour
