Drill Laborer
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage - based on experience
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time
WANTED: Drill Laborer/Helper for projects throughout the Yukon for the 2025 season (March-October). We work 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week, with flexible time off (depending on length of contract). The work is often remote. Experience in Environmental, Geotechnical and Exploration drilling is a plus.
: Help operate and maintain drill rig. Operate Support Rig and Skidsteer. Manual Labor. Catalogue and process core samples. Daily inspections and reporting of equipment condition. Assistance with mobilization between job sites. Maintain safe work habits.
Job Requirements:
-Mechanical experience is a plus
-Geological training or experience is a plus
-Due to demanding physical job requirements, applicant must be physically fit and willing to work in all weather conditions
-Must be reliable and consistently show a willingness to work throughout the season
-Must be prepared to live and work in a remote camp environment
-Class 1 or 3 driver's license preferred.
-Camp Lodging and Food will be provided
-Background checks and drug tests required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
