Job Description

Looking for a responsible draughtsman for

creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by the engineers

. These drawings serve as blueprints for R&D, fabrication, construction, manufacturing, and installation of projects at sites. The role requires a sound understanding of technical drawing principles, knowledge of industry-specific software, and the ability to translate complex information, clearly and accurately.

Key responsibilities of include:

Create and revise detailed technical plans and drawings supporting various products and projects.

Prepare and revise engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and block diagrams.

Assist checking documentation and sign-off on drawings.

Provide status, updates, and raise conflict problems discovered.

Perform design on complex tasks and those tasks requiring quick turnaround.

Meets with program management to obtain information to start or complete tasks, answer questions, or resolve problems.

Provide estimate on tasks including design and drafting time required.

Possess these skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and similar platforms.

Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction methods.

Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

Experience with 3D modeling software.

Familiarity with building codes and regulations in BC, in Canada, in USA, and abroad.

Experience with ERP program, bills of material and engineering masters

In addition to technical skills, the draughtsman should have:

Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Problem-solving mindset with a focus on project goal.

Able to work both independently and part of a team.

Adaptable to changing project requirements and timelines.

We are pioneers in the fabric structure industry with our own proprietary FEA software. Almost all work is in 3D. You will work closely with engineers, and high level technicians to ensure drawings are accurate and comply with company protocol. Your work is critical to translate design concepts into technical plans used for construction and manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
