, a market-leading provider of high-quality fluid sealing solutions, is looking for a Design Draftsperson to join our growing team. You will support the design and development of sealing solutions that ensure the integrity and performance of a wide range of applications. You will create detailed design drawings for our sealing products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, as well as perform offsite field work.

Key Accountabilities Include:
Designing templates for gasket dimensional checks and making custom drawings, aid in technical support referencing to gasket construction.
Support machining department with making 3D modes, and drawings for customer approval.
Support manufacturing management with technical questions regarding proper dimensions, and estimated completion times.
Support sales department with nesting sheet gasket requirements for bids.
Responsible for production planning and timelines, checking material and dimension on orders when appropriate, and creating and verifying dxf files.
Keeping in communication with the sales department regarding orders that includes verifying the information provided is correct and creating sketches/drawings for customer approval.
Inspect machined parts for quality control.
Onsite and Offsite 3D Scanning and design work, as required.
Travel to various sites, as required.
Safety and compliance with working on site in the oil and gas sector. (ie. H2S, Standard first aid, etc.)
Physical requirements associated to repetitive lifting, standing, crouching, and climbing.
Collaborative work environment, this position will be in support of sales and require a high level of communication and coordination with other departments.
Other duties as required.
Key Qualifications Include:
Post secondary education in drafting.
Proficient in SolidWorks 2D/3D and AutoCAD is required.
Industry Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery, power/hand tools.
Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Experience using a Manufacturing Information System (MIS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
Excellent mechanical, technical, and planning skills
A willingness to work on-call or overtime, if needed.
Field work and travel required.
