Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various drafting software and possess a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves creating detailed residential drawings and plans for construction projects, cabinet drafting and design, cabinet take offs, production scheduling, estimating take offs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. The Drafter will collaborate with clients and tradesman to bring innovative designs to life.

Duties

Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Buildertrend, and Microsoft excel to create precise technical drawings and plans. Draft detailed layouts for buildings, infrastructure for residential construction Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and make necessary adjustments to drawings. Review and revise existing drawings as needed to reflect changes in project scope or specifications. Prepare presentation materials, including 3D models using Sketchup for client meetings. Ensure all drafts comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards. Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy access by team members. Requirements

Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Microsoft and Buildertrend. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Knowledge of building codes and regulations is preferred. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. A degree or certification in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory. Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
