Job Description
Canuck Surveys is a growing, locally-owned land surveying company serving Calgary and surrounding areas. Our ALS & CLS specialize in legal, real property, development permit, and topography surveys, with additional work for oil & gas right of way plans. We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Draftsperson to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft Real Property Reports (RPR), Development Permit Surveys, and Topography Surveys.
Create and draft legal plans. (Subdivision & Condominium plans)Draft and Calculate construction lay out sketches for Stake out
. Ensure drafting accuracy and compliance with Alberta legal plan standards. Collaborate with surveyors and Field Surveyors to ensure timely project completion.Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of drafting experience using
Microsurvey software
. Strong understanding of Alberta legal plans and ability to read construction plans for survey stake out. Previous experience drafting RPRs, Development Permit surveys, and/or topography surveys and stake out sketches. Industry experience in land surveying and construction survey preferred.Must
beproficient in Microsurvey or Civil 3D software
. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.What We Offer:
