Drafting Technician

We are currently looking for a

Drafting Technician

to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

The design and preparation of working drawings for residential and light commercial buildings.

Demonstrate creativity and be customer-oriented, working closely with our design team, clients, sales staff, contractors and engineers.

The developing of architectural/structural designs using a CAD-based program (SoftPlan), while ensuring the design drawings conform to building code specifications and design data.

Skills and Qualifications:

Completion of a degree or diploma in Architecture or Structural Technology preferred. A combination of related education and experience will be considered.

Previous construction experience is a definite asset.

Willingness to learn, training provided.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.

Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.
