of Mining / OTR wheels and rims. We are seeking a

Drafting & CAD Technician

with

Solidworks

experience

to join our Drafting / Engineering team.

This is a

full time

,

office-based

position perfect for CAD technicians who enjoy working in both independent and collaborative capacities.

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Attention:

This is not a remote work position. Only applicants living in the Langley, Surrey or Greater Vancouver area or able to relocate prior to the starting date will be considered.

Job Duties

Creation and revision of controlled manufacturing drawings using Solidworks. Use of our MRP system to review inventory data, and create items such as bills of material, work order instructions, part numbers, product specification data, etc. Assisting Engineering and Management with tasks and projects. Assisting with product technical inquiries from our Sales and Customer Service teams. Performing all duties in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management processes.

Requirements

Solidworks

experience. Diploma in Computer Aided Design and Drafting. Good computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel. Experience using measuring tools, e,g,: vernier caliper, ID gauges, etc. Experience with an MRP / ERP system is a major asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
