The Opportunity



Propell is seeking a detail-oriented Drafting Technician to prepare engineering drawings, diagrams and layouts with accuracy and precision. This role requires the ability to visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings (and vice versa) and to understand the relationships between parts in machinery and systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the designers and engineers in delivering high-quality equipment solutions. Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-are essential to clearly convey design ideas and technical information.

Key Responsibilities



Follow specifications and calculations to create technical drawings Update or create detailed fabrication drawings of varying complexity using 3D CAD systems Operate computer-aided design and drafting systems efficiently Complete design alterations as required Create and maintain specifications, bills of materials (BOMS) and material lists Manage and continuously improve engineering drawing packages, work instructions and other technical documents Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality and accuracy Research and implement methods, systems and procedures that add value to engineering outputs Identify and communicate potential design issues to the team Ensure all work complies with established standards and procedures
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
