Job Description

We are a Calgary based manufacturing company specializing in the full production and installation of custom kitchen cabinetry, bathroom cabinetry, finishing carpentry, and closet solutions. Every project is crafted in-house using advanced materials and manufacturing technology to ensure exceptional quality and precision.

We are expanding our design and drafting team and are seeking a

highly skilled, detail-driven Drafting Technician

to support cabinetry projects. This is a remote position, but candidates

must reside in Canada and be able to provide proof of location

.

Candidates must have a distraction free enviroment

We are currently looking for someone who can work

a minimum of 25 hours per week

, up to a

maximum of 44 hours per week

.

Key Responsibilities



Produce accurate cabinetry drawings and revisions using Cabinet Vision software. Work closely with designers and production teams to ensure designs are complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements. Prepare final drawing packages for review and production. Interpret specifications, appliance details, and construction requirements to ensure technical accuracy. Manage multiple drafting requests and maintain timely turnaround. Attend virtual meetings as required to coordinate drawing updates and clarify project criteria. Maintain organized digital files and documentation for each project.

Required Knowledge & Skill Set



Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience using Cabinet Vision

.
An assessment assignment will be required to verify proficiency.

Strong understanding of cabinetry design principles and construction standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong proficiency in English communication, including clear written and verbal articulation. Proficiency in additional design software (e.g., 20/20, AutoCAD) is considered an advantage. Applicants are required to have a quiet remote work setup, stable high-speed internet, and compatible hardware to effectively work through a VPN.

Work Requirements



Remote position -- must reside in

Canada

and provide proof of location. Must be available to work between

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. MST

. Hours:

25 to 44 hours per week

, depending on workload and candidate availability.
