We're Hiring: Drafter / Engineer - Custom Cabinetry & Millwork

P5 Millwork & Design in Armstrong

Right now, we're looking for a

skilled Drafter/Engineer

who's ready to take ownership of their work.

This position is in-house

. You'll work closely with our shop and project management teams and help push the quality of our projects to the next level.

What You'll Do

You'll be a key player in turning concepts into reality. Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting & Engineering

Producing precise, detailed

shop drawings

using SketchUp and Mozaik. Developing accurate, complete

manufacturing drawings

for our shop team.

Programming CNC machine in Mozaik

, optimizing material use and minimizing waste. Assisting with preparation of complete, production-ready

work order packages

. Working directly with designers, architects, general contractors, and clients when needed to confirm details and expectations. Keeping project information accurate and up to date in our

ERP system

.

Quality & Project Results

Delivering on spec, on time, and to our high in-house standards. Updating drawings for revisions and as-built conditions. Troubleshooting CNC programming issues to help keep the shop schedule running smoothly. Coordinating with our Operations Manager to ensure clarity and completeness on every job

What We're Looking For

Experience drafting cabinetry or architectural millwork (or a related manufacturing field). Strong knowledge of SketchUp. CNC programming experience --

Mozaik software experience is a major asset

. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects without dropping details. Excellent communicator who can collaborate with designers, shop staff, and management. Strong problem-solver with a proactive, "let's get it done" approach. A person who takes pride in accurate, clean drawings and sees them as a reflection of their craftsmanship.
