Position -

Donor Coordinator - Full Time

Reporting to -

CEO

Location



This hybrid role will be Ontario based remote work with occasional travel across Canada for fundraising events, team meetings and other related CPFF work.

Summary of the Role



The Donor Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization's mission by coordinating fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship activities, and community fundraising events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, organizing impactful events, and creating meaningful donor experiences that strengthen community engagement and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities



Support the development and delivery of annual fundraising and donor engagement plans.

Coordinate donor communications, recognition, and impact reporting.

Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.

Assist in preparing sponsorship packages, grant submissions, and fundraising proposals.

Plan and execute fundraising events such as charity walks, awareness campaigns, and online appeals.

Input, maintain and download report donor databases, ensuring records of contributions and interactions are accurate and up to date.

Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop fundraising content and materials.

Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for fundraising events and campaigns.

Track and evaluate fundraising results; prepare progress and event reports.

Successful Applicants will have



Diploma or degree in Fundraising, Communications, Marketing, or Nonprofit Management (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of related experience in fundraising, events, or donor relations.

Experience in the charitable or nonprofit sector preferred.

CFRE or fundraising certificate an asset.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and Dropbox required

Previous experience and intermediate level of proficiency in using Canada Helps, One Cause, and WordPress platforms

Ability to learn software easily such as learning our in-house CRM/data management programs

Creative thinker with a positive, can-do attitude.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.

Coordinate event logistics such as awareness walks, webinars, and donor or sponsor meetings

Familiarity with social media or design tools (e.g., Canva) is an asset.

As we desire to be more technically proficient, the ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology and exploring tools that enhance digital efficiency, productivity and communication

Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving to events/meetings

Occupational Requirements:


This position supports approximately five-ten events per year and involves extended periods of standing and walking (up to 10 hours on event days). Duties include event setup, teardown, and supply preparation, which may require lifting or moving materials up to 50 lbs. Some events may take place during evenings or weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,433.17-$60,000.00 per year
