Job Description

This is a LONG TERM position. Our ideal candidate is someone who will put in the time to get to know their daily pack - you will walk the same group of dogs each day. SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY.

Hours needed are Monday to Friday between 10 am to 330 pm (May change) and Saturday and Sunday's from 11am to 4pm

Requirements:

- Previous experience professionally working and/or volunteering with dogs (strongly preferred.)
- You must be comfortable with walking dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- You must possess a client-focused attitude and a desire to comply with our clients' wishes/preferences regarding their dog's needs and care. We want people who care about animals AND people.
- Have a minimum of 3 personal and/or professional references
- Be bondable (no criminal convictions - background check will be required)
- You must be incredibly reliable. You must enjoy (or be able to work through) being outside in the rain, cold and miserable weather. The dogs never take a day off from needing a walk, so we do not either. You will need to be prepared and make sure you have the proper outdoor clothing, etc.
- You must be able to work with little supervision, yet take direction from head office well.
- You must have common sense, understand how to create efficient routes based on dogs addresses, and possess good decision-making skills.
- You must have a reliable cell phone with data, as we use a mobile app for all of our services.
