certified Dog Trainer (Independent Contractor)

to help us build an exceptional training program rooted in positive reinforcement. You'll have the freedom to grow your own client base, shape your class offerings, and bring your vision to life -- all with full support from our team, facility, and existing clientele. Your Mission & Impact

Training & Education

Lead Engaging Classes:

Deliver group programs like Puppy Preschool and Basic Obedience, using only force-free, reward-based techniques.

Private Sessions:

Offer personalized one-on-one training tailored to behavioral needs or skill-building.

Teach the Humans Too:

Coach pet parents through clear, compassionate instruction that builds trust and long-term success.

Program Development

Bring Your Vision:

Take initiative to design and grow the training program under your own professional philosophy.

Shape the Offerings:

Recommend new class formats, enrichment activities, or specialty sessions based on your strengths.

Help Us Grow:

Build lasting relationships with clients that lead to repeat business and community impact.

Facility & Support

Train with Confidence:

Enjoy access to a spacious indoor facility and professional equipment.

We Handle the Logistics:

Our reception team books appointments, manages communications, and keeps things organized.

Maintain Clean Spaces:

Reset training areas after each session and keep environments safe and tidy.

What Sets You Apart

Certified & Experienced:

You hold a recognized dog training certification (CPDT-KA, KPA, CTC, or similar) and have at least 2 years of hands-on training experience.

Positive Reinforcement Only:

You're fully committed to fear-free, reward-based methods -- no exceptions.

Independent & Motivated:

You're ready to take the lead, build your program, and grow your impact.

Great with People:

You're just as skilled at coaching humans as you are with dogs.

Flexible Schedule:

Willing to offer at least some evening and weekend sessions.
