Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and compassionate

Dog Trainer

to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to help dogs and people, work with a passionate group, and grow in the dog training industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct private and group dog training sessions (obedience, behavior modification, confidence-building, etc.) Design and implement individualized training plans based on dog and client needs Educate and coach clients in training techniques, theory, and canine behavior Provide feedback and ongoing support to clients (in person and via SKOOL, phone, or WhatsApp) Participate in the onboarding and graduation of training clients Maintain accurate training notes and client records in our CRM/Gingr system Work collaboratively with the Canine Success Coordinator and support team Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing education Support dogs in boarding/daycare as needed (as part of a team rotation)

Qualifications:

Previous professional dog training experience (min. 1 year preferred, but will consider candidates with hands-on experience and a great attitude) Knowledge of balanced, or e-collar training (willingness to work within our training model) Confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments--including large/strong breeds and dogs with behavioral challenges Strong communication and coaching skills with people of all backgrounds Positive attitude Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Self Motivated Eager to grow Passionate about learning, growth, and making a positive impact Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required Certification (IACP, or similar) is a bonus, but not required Drivers licence and vehicle

Pay: $30,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
