Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets while their owners are away. The ideal candidate will have a pet free, or friendly dog, a decent sized home or yard, fenced yard, and is not away from home longer than 4 hours at any given time (ideal, not mandatory). You must have a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their safety, well-being, and happiness. As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for feeding, walking, and engaging with pets, as instructed by owners, as well as maintaining a safe environment for them.

Duties

Communicate and meet with new pet owners to introduce yourself and your home and build trust. Build relationship with pet owners and their dogs Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed. Ensure pets receive adequate exercise and playtime to promote their physical and mental well-being. Maintain a clean living space for the pets by cleaning up after them and ensuring their areas are tidy. Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to the pet owners promptly. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's needs and any observations during visits. Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners to ensure each pet's routine is maintained. Take content of pets as specified

Skills

Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their concerns. Ability to handle various types of pets with care and confidence. Attention to detail in following care instructions and maintaining cleanliness. Patience and empathy towards animals, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in your care. Social media presence and basic photography skills
